The author of the project made by Turkish company Polymeks. Complex five-floor has an area of 1200 m, it is equipped with the latest technology. On its territory was built about a hundred objects, including two runways, 72-meter high control tower, cargo terminal and a pilot training center.
Before the opening of the airport in Ashgabat it has already had several grandiose structures, including publishing in the form of an open book and a 21-meter statue, covered with 24-carat gold, which is dedicated to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
