Proper tire pressure bicycle
Correctly chosen tire pressure bike determines its driving performance as well as that, how long and how well these tires will provide its owner. Therefore, to know how much air atmosphere is laid in your RV, it is absolutely necessary. Unless of course you are going to seriously engage in cycling.
How much pressure the tires should have a bicycle?
Single wheels pumping rules do not actually exist. Bicycle tire pressure depends on the operating conditions, such as a bicycle and a bicycle type tires, as well as many other factors. In order to facilitate the life of a cyclist, manufacturers on a sidewall of the tire indicate the minimum and maximum limits of the possible pressure for each of them. Selection within the range specified by the manufacturer is at the discretion cyclist, depending on road conditions and driving style. The general rule assumes the maximum possible pressure when driving on a flat road at a high speed, and close to minimum values - when driving off-road, where necessary increased permeability. Let us consider separately the two embodiment in more detail. The road version of the
Y "speed" road tires, usually a small height and thus, a small amount of air, and therefore the pressure in them is relatively large and is selected within 95-135 psi or 6.46-9.18 atmospheres. Once selected pressure acceptable to the cyclist, in these tires virtually no change, and only follow its maintenance. A need to monitor it every day because it can be quickly lost due to the small volume. Incidentally, it should be mentioned that it is not necessary to use pumping a bicycle tire compressor stations. This can lead to their complete uselessness.
Mountain version of
In mountain bike tires high altitude and therefore a much greater volume of air inside. Tire pressure bicycle designed for off-road, to be maintained within 2.38 - 4 08 atmospheres. Due to the large volume of air mining tires are not so sensitive to the loss of pressure as "speed", but, of course, they also require periodic monitoring and inspections at least once a week. Low pressure provides good traction in off-road wheels and prevents them scroll, slide, prevents the drop and allows to climb steep slopes. For this reason, it is best to maintain the pressure in these tires close to the minimum values specified by the manufacturer. Excessive tire pressure bicycle would nullify all of their "off-road" dignity. In turn, too low a pressure may damage the rim when hitting an obstacle (a stone, a branch and r. N.).
As can be seen from the foregoing that the correct pressure is important for successful cycling, especially when it comes to long-distance travel, which will not be able to fix the bike. Tire pressure in this case must be checked using a pressure gauge, since checking the "finger" and "eye" does not give a specific result.
