To have time to get married
• Catch marry
Leslie Rivera, 18 years old, she lives in Murrieta, California. In April, she was diagnosed - leukemia. The girl left to live only a few months. Her relatives asked "Make a wish" to a fund that performs the last dreams of terminally ill. A desire Leslie was quite feasible, simple, but at the same time very touching - to marry her lover, who selflessly cared for her all the time. And last Thursday wedding Blarney Rivera and Daniel Mendez took place.
Leslie and Daniel met in the group of "racism" in a school camp in October 2012, and has since been inseparable.
After graduating from high school in April Leslie accounts for almost all of their time to spend in the hospital. And Daniel never leaves her side.
The girl loves to watch a TV show about a master of his craft, David Tutera organizes weddings for celebrities.
Sarah Pitstsaruzo from the fund "Make a Wish" got in touch with David Tuteroy to help them fulfill the last wish of her ward. They say that, given the state of Leslie realized that they need to "act quickly".
"David responded very quickly, and after a few days his team began to organize her special day," - says Sarah. When Leslie was trying on a dress, David personally came to see her, than literally shocked girl.
"The site of David announcement about this event was published, and hundreds of people responded to him, they sent the money, much as they could."
"The best thing, - says David, - this is to see that it is - an ordinary bride."
However, Leslie and organizers worked her special day in detail. Leslie wanted her wedding was like a wedding the main characters of the saga "Twilight".
The wedding took place on November 21 at the ranch of Las Thomas in Orange County. There were chocolate covered strawberries, and fotobudka - all as the bride wanted.
Leslie Eve ceremony held at the hospital - it was necessary to do regular blood transfusions to the bride to feel good.
"Looking like Leslie literally shone in front of guests, greeted people smile with sincere love looking at her husband - looking at all this, you do not even care, what works is worth it", - said Sarah Pitstsaruzo.
"But looking like Daniel takes care of her, help her go, holding hands as they recite the oath, you realize that they are just made for each other."
The fund aims to "make a wish" - to perform "real dream" of the child, giving them and their families to forget about doctors, hospitals, and syringes. And David and his team have managed to do it.
Leslie, Daniel and their families was a time to celebrate, laugh and dance - that is, to do what they do not even dream of the past few months.
