Journey to the Far Eastern Marine Biosphere Reserve
• Journey to the Far Eastern Marine Biosphere Reserve
Cordon southern section of the reserve is located at the foot of the Cape "island False". This title - geomorphological feature. During strong tides it becomes a peninsula. And if you look at it from the sea - because of its characteristic shape it seems the island.
The southern section - the main pilot of the reserve base. Here's a description of marine and terrestrial animals and plant communities as a benchmark the current state of nature. The task of the inspectors cordon - intercepting poaching vessels and boats as well as boats that are in the reserve without permits.
After a long rally on the 17-km sandbar we finally reached our goal!
Greeted us well! At the gate, we have already seen two hunting dogs, a cat and an inspector cordon. Isolated kitchen, great room and a parking space. Time to lose and not have given up at once to overcome the top of the hill.

Nature here is unique. On top of the cape is perfectly visible Furugelm island. And on a south facing two monuments of nature - volcano "Pigeon Rock" and "Syudari". Their foot winter shitomordniki and snakes, Japanese mole lives.
The southernmost island of the country -Furugelm
Laguna Bay and Pigeon located near the cordon, have global significance - here in the breeding and migration observed over 300 species of birds - gulls, cormorants, cranes, waders, geese, and herons. The last we have seen at sunset. They are important paced and deftly fished.

In the evening, the sunset was gorgeous!
We watched the dance of herons
View of the lagoon from our apartments
The cat in circles, begging for fish
And in those places are very beautiful starry sky.
For the first time shooting the night sky
And so it came to an end our trip to the Far Eastern Marine Biosphere Reserve, FEB RAS
Enjoy all these beauty can be perfectly legitimate - there are several hiking trails (see the official website of the reserve.)
