Journey to the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom
Florida city of Orlando, which is about 150 miles south of Jacksonville - a city razlecheny parks. There are parks Universal Studios, several parks related to Walt Disney World, a water park, which is one of the highest water slides in the world and so much more.
Now I talk a little about the park Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom, for the sake of simplicity I will call it simply Disneyworld (this is not Disneyland, the second there in California), but what's the difference, anyway we call it Disneyland together.
Magic Kingdom - it is the place where you can see Cinderella's Castle with the logo, which is present in all the Disney movies and dudes in suits of different cartoon characters, such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Some of cool rides out there, unfortunately not (well, there are two, but they are not very exciting). In general, it is rather a children's place, but to go there still stands, just for the sake of uvidit Disneyworld.
This is the first theme park built at Disney World Resort, it opened already in 1971. According to Wikipedia, in 2011, the park received 17 million visitors, making it the most visited park in the world in 2011.
The territory occupied by the park - very big. And the parking lot from the main park separates pretty impressive distance. From the parking lot to the entrance here such road train ride in the park itself. Tractor Diesel and very stinks, just like Icarus on the streets of the former USSR in the 90s:
Tile to cash registers:
Next, after passed the box office, where the ticket is bought or exchanged for the printed confirmation of the online payment, up to the main area you need to go on the monorail. The first time I went to this form of transport, and I really liked it - quietly, smoothly and quickly.
Monorail arrives at the "Station", from which you get to the turnstiles, after which goes to the Main Street:
Even around the park drives a old school train:
And the ships and boats. Among the options there is a ferry, where you can get to the main street instead of the monorail:
Our tickets cost about $ 90, inclusive of all taxes received 200 for two. We bought tickets for both Florida residents, non-residents is even more expensive. When exchanging the order confirmation ticket is required to show proof of residency, in our case it was the Florida law. In this park tickets are in the form of cool plastic cards with a magnetic strip:
At the entrance to all parks dual admission system - scanned the ticket and fingerprint:
Green lights up when everything is ok and you can take:
This is inside, on Main Street. All these pretentious buildings - mainly shops selling all sorts of souvenirs and cafes:
The roof of a souvenir stall:
On the steps of the castle presentation held every day, is going to see a crowd of people:
The whole park is divided into 5 themed zones. This is the entrance to Tomorrowland area, where we went to only one attraction:
Trashcan of Tomorrowland:
It is very hot, so all the parks there's such zones for cooling - blowing cold water vapor:
This is the Fantasyland:
Here we went to ride the mermaid Ariel. Travel in shells on the "underwater world". Children, probably will be interesting.
All the parks to amusement pushut approximate waiting time. Usually, there are 3 stage - the usual long, fast express all and all for single riders who do not care to be in the company of buddies on the ride, which is also faster. The steeper the ride, the longer the queue. It was not particularly large lines at the park.
By the way, express ticket policy is different. In the parks of Universal they paid about $ 100 for two people for 2 days, and in Disneyworld anyone could get express ticket, scan your card into a special machine, so there were ograniyaeniya: Express tickets were codes for an hour, and as generally, the time for which they were issued, it was about an hour after the receipt of the ticket, that is, you can go on another ride, and then come to this for the express line. It was also impossible to get express tickets at the same time by more than 1 attraction.
Local popular bulb:
Inside a Small World attraction - swim to the boat by any dolls representing different cultures, peoples and countries on all continents:
At the entrance to the funky ride - a trip for some dungeons of the castle with ghosts, vampires and other garbage. It is very cool, it's not scary. Well, children, probably scared
Here is the Castle:
One of the few attractions sanitary discharges - the classic old school roller coaster with a locomotive. No dead loops, just with sharp turns and elevation changes:
One more fans for me a little bit tight, too long it was necessary to go to this waterfall, but the result was worth it - the water flowing in the pants. We sat there in the most dangerous in terms of possible vymoknut, first row:
Like the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. 90% (if not more) of the local attractions are built on the same principle - you swim / going through the premises, which is a pieces of worlds and scenes from the movies / cartoons.
The park is open until 11 pm. In the evening, there goes some hits, which we saw only from a distance (luminous figures riding on rails), laser show and fireworks at the castle:
