For Poland, Japan and China do not like Russia

For Poland, Japan and China do not like Russia

Russia has always actively participated in international politics, defending its independence and national interests. Therefore, from time to time there were situations that led to strained relations with other states, adheres to other positions.

Poland

Relations between Russia and Poland throughout history replete with mutual claims and misunderstanding. Once again, they have become aggravated after the event, called by historians "the Katyn execution", which resulted in the spring of 1940, almost 22,000 Polish officers, prisoners of war and civilians were killed, detained in three camps - Kozelsk, Starobelsk and Ostashkov.

Polish authorities have blamed the war crime of the leadership of the Soviet Union and the Soviet Union, in turn, argued that the mass murder - the handiwork of the retreating Germans. When in 1939 the Soviet Union regained annexed by Poland in 1921, the territory of Western Belarus and Western Ukraine, the persons who were under suspicion from the NKVD were detained. Some of them are following the proceedings was sent to the construction of roads in Siberia, while the other remained in the camps until April 1943 their fate no one remembered.

However, after the crushing defeat of the Germans at Stalingrad, with the filing of the Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels of Nazi Germany came to light information about the Germans detected in the Katyn Forest graves of Polish officers allegedly shot by the Bolsheviks.

In January 1944, after a couple of months after the liberation of the Smolensk region, the Soviet commission headed by Nikolai Burdenko military doctor was called. Investigate "the Katyn execution", she concluded that the Polish prisoners of war, not evacuated from the above mentioned camps due to the rapid German attack on the Soviet Union, destroyed in 1941 by the Nazis. The judge hearing this military episode of the Nuremberg Tribunal, considered the Nazi guilt unproven, and the next 40 years, all prefer not to think about the event.

Interest in the "Katyn death" was revived in 1990, when in the wake of restructuring and the demonization of the past Soviet leaders, based on archival documents, has recognized this tragedy, "one of the serious crimes of Stalinism".

However, many researchers agree that the NKVD reports no more than a fake, because the historical discrepancies abound.

China

The Chinese simply can not forget about the event that occurred August 14, 1900, when Russian troops stormed Beijing during the "Boxer rebellion", also known as the Boxer Rising - "units of harmony and justice." The rebels, from 1898 to 1901 to support this movement, opposed the transformation of China into a colony of the Western powers and Japan, to actively intervene in the internal politics, economy and religion of their country.

Not wanting to put up with the foreign domination, they directed their anger at the missionaries and the Chinese, who adopted Christianity, the mass killings that swept across the country.

In response to the anti-Christian pogroms, the systematic burning of Christian churches, the seizure of the Legation Quarter in Beijing, the blockade of the diplomatic missions, the murder of the German ambassador and arranged in the capital of the massacre of the Gentiles, called "Bartholomew's night in Beijing," the Celestial Empire troops entered Eight-Nation Alliance.

The members of this military alliance, in addition to the Russian Empire were: Austria-Hungary, France, Germany, Italy, the USA, France and Japan, but the command of the united armies carried Russian General Nikolai Linevich. Under his leadership, began a successful attack on Beijing, as a result of which the Russian first division rushed to the capital. This event put an end to binge Boxer, and eventually forced China to sign a humiliating final protocol.

Japan

Normal dialogue between Japan and Russia prevents Improper still Kuril Islands dispute that arose in 1945 after the surrender of Japan and its occupation by Allied forces.

In January 1946, Douglas MacArthur, commander in chief of the allied forces on the Rights issued a memorandum number 677, on which formerly belonged to Japan, the Kuril Islands, an archipelago of Habomai and Shikotan island were excluded from its territory and under the control of the Soviet Union.

However, when in September 1951 in San Francisco signed a peace treaty between the Allies and Japan, the latter referring to the fact that the islands of Shikotan, Etorofu, Habomai, Kunashir and never were part of the Kuril chain, refused to recognize the Soviet jurisdiction over them.

Next try to solve the territorial issue between Japan and the USSR was made in 1956, when the countries signed the Moscow Declaration, which enabled them to establish diplomatic cooperation and fix the Moscow agreement on the transfer of Tokyo, Shikotan and Habomai islands, after the conclusion of a real peace agreement.

The Baltic States

Baltic trio - Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, based on its state ideology and policy of the concept of "Soviet occupation", as without ceasing to blow from all domestic and international platforms. Baltic countries impute Russia as successor to the USSR, the illegal invasion and adherence to itself the territories of their States in 1940, immediately after the signing of the Soviet-German pact of non-aggression in 1939. Demanding official recognition of this fact, the Baltic authorities actively glorify accomplices of fascism, considering them as fighters for the independence of the homeland, and pseudo-mark the tragic date that have previously been linked with the victories of the Soviet troops.

Anti-Russian hysteria in the Baltic States is not limited to verbal attacks, as reinforced by the territorial and financial claims.

Lithuania believes that Russia should give her part of the Kaliningrad region, Latvia claims the two districts of the Pskov region and Estonia on commemorative coins depicts a map of the country, with attached thereto Ivangorod and Pechora region.
